You can watch the Super Bowl for free with Bigscreen VR
This Sunday the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV. If you are sensible and don’t want to get you and your friends sick, you will be watching it alone this year. Some of us are planning to Skype or Zoom with some friends to watch the game. If you want top take your COVID safe Super Bowl party to the next level, I would recommend hopping on Bigscreen and catching the game there.
This year CBS Sports are providing a free-of-charge stream of the game via their website. Anyone with a decent internet connection can stream the Super Bowl for free. Bigscreen have taken advantage of the free stream and is hosting it on their social VR platform.
Anyone with a VR headset can join in, including the Oculus Quest/Quest 2, Oculus Rift/Rift S, SteamVR, Valve Index, and Windows Mixed Reality. If you are a PC VR user, you can also stream the game from your desktop and create a private room for you and up to 11 other friends.
IF you haven’t already, you should download the Bigscreen app for your preferred headset and check it out. There are plenty of other free things you can watch on the app, in fact they have increased their total number of free channels to 172. When you want to watch the game, you should select the CBS Sports live stream featured on the home page on February 7th at 3:30 PM PT/6:30 PM EST.
This is another feather in Bigscreen’s cap. They are quickly cementing their place as the go to app for streaming in virtual reality.
