Last month, the VR Cover had been announced alongside the new system from Facebook-Oculus. The facial interface and foam replacement is finally available.
Back in November, VR Cover announced they would launch their cotton cover, silicone cover and lens cover for the Quest 2, but they would be holding off on launching their facial interface and foam replacement kit for the new headset - a far more substantial upgrade for your Quest system.
First released in 2014, VR Cover had become something of a fan favourite for Quest users, offsetting the effects of dirt and grime which can build-up from lengthy play sessions. As a result, Facebook-Oculus decided to make VR Cover an official product partner.
However, the only problem was that the VR Cover didn't come out on time. Although the company put out a couple of cheaper alternatives, with a silicone and fabric variant priced at $14 and $19 respectively.
However, maybe good things really do come to those who wait: VR Cover's facial interface and foam replacement cover for Quest 2 is finally available for customers in the US.
But be sure to be quick - the Facial Interface & Foam Replacement for Oculus™ Quest 2 (Standard Edition) isn't likely to last long.
Don't be disheartened if you can't get your hands on one immediately, as VR Cover have revealed to UploadVR that they had begun sales with very limited stock but were expect a re-stock very soon.
Just in time, too, considering you're probably going to not take your headset off for weeks after Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond finally launches.
