The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners releases today on Oculus Quest

Skydance Interactive's The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners (Tourist Edition) was released today on the Oculus Store.

Released for SteamVR and PSVR headsets earlier this year, Skydance Interactive announced at Facebook Connect last month that Saints & Sinners would be out in time for the launch of the Oculus Quest 2.

The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic New Orleans and invites players to "face all the horrors that the living and dead can offer," in a vast VR experience set in the universe of The Walking Dead:

Travel through the ruins of walker infested New Orleans as you fight, sneak, scavenge, and survive each day unravelling a city wide mystery within the iconic quarters. Encounter desperate factions and lone survivors who could be friend or foe. Whether you help others or take what you want by force, every choice you make has consequences. What kind of survivor will you be for the people of NOLA?

The game will give players to opportunity to prepare themselves with equipment and weaponry either by scavenging and crafting or killing and looting. The game will also feature dynamic, spatial audio to further immerse gamers in the experience. The game has been generally well received by critics, with a Metacritic score of 81/100.

The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners is available now from the Oculus Store, priced at $40. That is, if you're not too concerned about Oculus' Facebook account requirement which comes into force this week.
