The Tower is Open! The new Population: ONE gamemode 'Tower Struggle' is LIVE NOW! To say people are hyped is probably an understatement.
The goal is simple: "Collect the Energy Cores to receive free in-game rewards given at 5, 10, 15 and 30 cores!"
But before you hop into The Tower and race to collect as many Energy Cores as you can, take note: BigBox have already revealed a couple of known issues on a variety of headsets, as well as few quick fixes. If you're having any issues, best check this list. We'll keep it updated as more bugs come to light throughout the event:
On PC VR, BigBox's play testers have reported that they can't use snap or smooth turn functionality while in pods. There is currently no fix to this, but it should be patched soon.
In Steam VR, users playing with an Oculus headset will run into issues purchasing Bureau Gold. Until this is fixed, simply remove your device in order to conform your purchase.
Finally, users may notice that they are prompted to "update to play", but don't see any option to update in the store. In that case, you just need to uninstall and then reinstall Population: ONE. This will force the upgrade to happen. Don't worry, the developer has assured that you will not lose any progress or data.
BigBox have also noted that they are currently investigating reports of a T-Pose glitch.
And, of course, you can head over to BigBox Support to get access to self-help resources or filing a support ticket if you're having an issue that isn't addressed in this article.
