Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is universally hated... by our Cats
Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit for the Nintendo Switch launched today to widespread praise. But do you know who doesn't really like it?

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit for the Nintendo Switch launched today to widespread praise. But although the game itself is noteworthy for a number of reasons, the internet can't seem to get over how our cats are responding to it...
When Nintendo announced that their first original Mario Kart outing on the Switch would be an augmented reality (AR) experience with an actual kart darting around your living room, we were absolutely ecstatic.
But the excitement was not universal. As we humans were organising our pre-orders and sharing the trailer on social media, dark clouds of foreboding engulfed our furry friends. Cats and dogs could foresee that they were soon to be heckin' spooked.

The game may have been met with widespread acclaim, but social media hasn't really noticed yet. Instead, the world is captivated by how our collective community of house cats have reacted to it.
They may stare and swipe at our karts, but the main problem is that we can't seem to win any races because we are constantly distracted by their hilarious reactions. In fact, I'd be surprised if anyone has even finished a race yet.
Gotta love @IGN's review of Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, if anything, for the hilarious situation of trying to play the game with a cat at home.@cynixy, wanna try? đ pic.twitter.com/4dIDoIpBos

Most of my time in the game so far has involved me going well off course to chase my cat around the room. I can't tell if he likes it or not...
...but I certainly do.
