Pavlov VR has just gotten its biggest update yet. The early access VR shooter has added WW2 weapons, character models, maps, and even fully useable tanks to the game.
Pavlov VR is one of the best VR FPS titles out there, and despite it still being in early access the developers, Vankrupt Games, have managed to cement the title as one of the leaders in the genre.
The update was originally due in November of last year but considering everything that has gone down over the past 10 months you can understand why the update has been delayed.
So, what has been added to the game? Pavlov VR now has 18 period specific guns from both the Allied and the Axis forces. The guns from the Allies include M1 Garand, the Thompson, the PPSH, and the Mosin–Nagant. The Axis weapons include the MP 40, StG 44, and MG 42.
Also included are new player skins and maps. The new maps include Santorini which is set on a Greek island in the Aegean Sea and Station, a map based on a US subway station. Old maps like Bridge and Datacenter have been reworked with enhanced lighting and props.
The biggest change and the most important addition in this update is the inclusion of an all-new feature and gameplay mode, tanks. Vankrupt Games have created a 20 player, 10v10 game mode called Tank TDM. Players can either be a Driver, Gunner, or Commander. A new character class has also been introduced that can repair tanks with a new blow torch ability.
Pavlov VR is available on Steam and it supports Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Valve Index and Windows Mixed Reality headsets.
