Black Friday may have passed, but the deals aren't over just yet. One of the major VR bargains this time round: HTC Vive Cosmos & Cosmos Elite still both have $100 off.
They may have only been out for a few months, but Black Friday has already delivered a frankly unbelievable deal - the HTC Vive Cosmos & HTC Vive Cosmos Elite are both currently on sale with $100 off each.
That being said, I'm not here to pretend either are going dirt cheap. The Vive Cosmos will still cost you $599.00 (originally $699.00) and the Cosmos Elite will cost you an eye watering $799.00 (originally $899.00).
Both the Vive Cosmos and Cosmos Elite are PCVR headsets, meaning that you can plug them in to your gaming PC to play any title designed for SteamVR. The headsets also support six degrees of motion and both feature an 2880 x 1770 90Hz internal display.
What's the difference between the two? Well, the Cosmos Elite comes with two "tracking towers", features external tracking and is black. According to UploadVR, that's it: "the specifications are exactly the same as the Vive Cosmos." That's not a lot of bang for a $200 upgrade. But if you go for it anyway, all power to you.
The headsets are on sale from Microsoft with $100 off - both the HTC Vive Cosmos and HTC Vive Cosmos Elite. There's never been a better time to invest in a PCVR headset, too. Especially since we found out the modding community is building a ground-up VR port of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.
