VR is all about giving consumers new experiences, and House Flipper VR is primed to do just that. It's a VR port of the original House Flipper, which was released in 2018 for Windows, macOS, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
While House Flipper VR hasn't yet received a full release, you can view the game's profile page on Steam to see screenshots, dev updates, and more. It's expected to be available on HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Valve Index, although more devices could be added later on.
House Flipper VR comes from Frozen District, a developer and publisher that's currently associated with a number of other projects including Garden Flipper, the original House Flipper, and the free Apocalypse Flipper DLC. They're also behind an upcoming landlord simulator called The Tenants, but it's currently unclear whether this takes place in the same universe as House Flipper VR.
It's tough to say exactly how the game will feel in VR, but Frozen District posted a new YouTube trailer on August 24th. This video shows a player picking up trash, wiping down counters, watering plants, setting up furniture, stocking the fridge, and even throwing a hammer into a wall.
Whether you're a veteran of the first House Flipper, completely new to the genre, or even a real-life house flipper, this game could have something for everyone. The easiest way to stay current on future updates is to follow the game on Steam. From there, it will show up in your Activity Feed, and you'll receive a notification if it goes on sale.
While the devs pledged to post development news every two weeks, there hasn't been an update since August 1st. We'll let you know if we hear anything more about the release of House Flipper VR.
