2020 has been rough, so this has become the year of self-love. What is a better way to show yourself how much you love by participating in the Steam sale?
Oh, I do love this time of year. Giving, family, and the Steam Winter sale.
Yesterday, we reported that the Epic Tarzan VR™ has had it's price slashed - the first two instalments available now for just $16. If you're not sure, check out our review of Issue #1 here.
But that's not all. We've been blessed with substantial discounts to some of the biggest VR games released this year.
So, without further ado, here's a few more of VRFinal's highlights.
Half-Life: Alyx is the biggest VR title released this year. Is that even a controversial statement? It won the Game of the Year Award at the VR Awards 2020 last month and was topped off with 3 hours of in-game Developer Commentary to celebrate.
Half-Life: Alyx is currently available for $45, a 25% reduction from a $60 RRP.
Boneworks is a game with some of the best lore you've ever seen in VR. Seriously, go play Duck Season first. You thought Half-Life: Alyx was creepy, you've seen nothing yet.
It's a game that doesn't usually go on sale, so you may as well catch Boneworks while you can: $24 down from a usual RRP of $30.
Skydance Interactive's The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is a post-apocalyptic survival game taking place in New Orleans.
The game gives players the opportunity to prepare themselves with equipment and weaponry either by scavenging and crafting or killing and looting - it's an expansive, immersive, VR adventure taking place in The Walking Dead universe.
It is now available for 25% off: just $30.
A pet love of mine this year, Jon Favreau's Gnomes & Goblins, debuted at Venice VR Online back in August. It then came to PC VR in September, to rave reviews.
You can now “embark on a dream-like journey in this fantasy adventure VR simulation" for a huge discount - 35% off, now just $20.
