There are some serious savings to be had with the new VR game bundle from Humble Bundle. This new VR only offer has eight VR titles on offer for a serious discount.
The Humble Spring Into VR Bundle offers eight VR titles that you can pick up at several different price points. If you pay a minimum of 71p you can pick up the zero-g sci-fi title Detached. If you bump up your payment to £10.77 you can add three more titles to that list, Job Simulator, Sairento VR and Borderlands 2 VR. If you beat the current average payment for the bundle, right now that sits at £10.81, you can add another four games to your basket, Star Trek: Bridge Crew, Surgeon Simulator: Experience Reality, Swords of Gurrah and Espire 1: VR Operative.
The bundle has been created in support of the charity, Stop AAPI Hate, according to the bundle page:
“Stop AAPI Hate is a national coalition addressing anti-Asian racism across the U.S. The coalition was founded by the Asian Pacific Policy and Planning Council (A3PCON), Chinese for Affirmative Action (CAA) and San Francisco State University’s Asian American Studies Department. Between March 19, 2020 and February 28, 2021, Stop AAPI Hate has received 3,795 reported incidents of racism and discrimination targeting Asian Americans across the U.S.”
The games in the bundle are a little bit outdated but if you were to pick them all up at full price, you would end up paying around £160. I would recommend this bundle for someone new to VR who wants to try out a few games for cheap. There is an interesting mix of games but none of them are really the top of their class at what they do. It could be a goo way of trying out some different genres and seeing what works for you.
